Would you take a 10 hour drive for s trip with a 7 month old?

I wouldn't but, I wouldn't take a 10 hr drive without a baby.

I've had friends who have done it and they haven't had any issues. They did most of their traveling at night and stopped as many times as they needed to.

I am debating if we should fly instead but feel like we have so much stuff to bring so driving may be easier?

We took a 6 hour drive when DS was 7 months old. He napped during a chunk of the ride, we got out to have lunch, diaper change and also stopped one other time to just walk around home depot (him in the stroller) until traffic cleared out.

I would do it, just be prepared to stop and give yourself lots of time. Driving at night is probably a good suggestion.

I would fly if you had the option. Or I would break up the trip.

My IL's live in Boston and we now live in DC. It would be about a 10 hour drive and we have yet to do it. We did go up a few times when we still lived in NY.

I personally hate road trips though. One of my first memories is a road trip to Disney World. I have no actual memories of the actual park but I remember being miserable in the car.

Yes, and we have. DS is almost a year and has taken about six 10 hr car trips. We stop 3 or 4 times ( for gas, and meals). We bring some of his favorite toys. He takes such long naps too.
