Stockholm and Copenhagen in the winter
I may attend a conference in Stockholm next February. A long way off, but I like to plan early.
If you've been, can you tell me about your experience, especially if you've gone in the winter?
I know that it's expensive and that there won't be a lot by way of day light hours, but is it worth staying in Stockholm for a week? The conference is only two days, I want to be in Europe for a week and a half to two weeks.
I'd like to also go to Copenhagen since it's close enough. (Feel free to share any experiences you have there too).
Thanks!

Re: Stockholm and Copenhagen in the winter
I went to Stockholm but it was 1995 and I don't remember much.
It was part of a school trip so I can't offer any planning advice but I remember loving the city.
It seemed a diverse and cosmopolitan city; I remember eating at a really good Indian restaurant.
I was there around the 3rd week in April and it was COLD and snowy. We're all wearing winter jackets in the pics and I also remember trying to walk up the hilly streets and slipping in the slush. So winter will probably be rough.
