Question about when baby can hear from inside the womb...

We looked this up a few weeks ago and the answers were so varying. Some as late as 23 weeks, many 20 weeks... but today is the day my weeks changed over -- I'm 15 weeks. The app I track with is the 'What to Expect' app and this is what it says for when you're starting your '16th week' (so from today forward)

Baby's Hearing Develops...


Thoughts? I want to start playing Baby Dinosaur some tunes... obviously can't hurt anything to do it earlier than what might actually be working but now I'm curious.

great question! I'm not sure bbut my poor child has to listen to me sing all day long as a Chorus teacher!

I thought I remember reading somewhere that it's 19 weeks ? It doesn't hurt to start playing music, it will be soothing to mama too!

poor baby fatthead had to listen to mommy sing to her in the shower every morning.lol
I thought it was super kool how she would kick and move everytime I played NIN

I started very early on. Week 14. But that's because MS was gone and I was happy again.lol

Ive been playing music to baby since around 23 weeks!! although not sure he/she can hear it only one song would make the baby move!! I think it was cats in the cradle! lol
