So does he have fever or no?

I just checked DS's fever with a ear thermometer (Braun, just got it couple of weeks ago) and get 2 different numbers, left ear says 98.5 and the right one says 100.6 . I checked 3 times and same.
He does feel a bit warm to touch but not hot, just enough to make me think maybe he has low fever. Or maybe he is just warm ?

I would say yes. He has low grade fever. I always go by the higher reading

I will back up my ear temp with a rectal temp so I know the degree difference. My ear thermometer is always 1 degree lower than the rectal temp.

I think he may have a low fever and it wouldn't hurt to give him some tylenol.

Thank you, I just checked with a different thermometer and his fever is 1001 rectal shows 101.2 .
Taking him to the ped's office later, want to make sure he doesn't have an ear infection or something.
