NT scan today any insight?????
Any advise that you ladies can give me on how this appointment might go??? I know a few people have said do not be alarmed if they are quiet and don't say anything, but will the doctor definitely come and talk after? My appointment is with Madonna in Brightwaters.

I had my NT scan at Madonna in Brightwaters. The tech was very nice as far as pointing out what everything was, and it was really cool to see the baby looking like an actual baby! But, no, you won't get any actual information. The results will get forwarded to your regular dr. Good luck and enjoy!

NT scan today any insight?????
I was just there this morning for my NT scan follow up. I'm not sure how other doctors do it, but mine has you go back a week later to meet with a genetic counselor to go over the results and discuss your other options. It was very informative (almost too much information!).
The actual scan last week was incredible! Just seeing the baby in so much detail. It was so cool. The tech would only point out things like brain, heart, spine. She did not give any other info unless I asked as far as heartrate and size. As I found out on this board they really should not comment on if things look good or healthy b/c they are not qualified to do so.
The office and all the staff that I came in contact with were very nice. Good luck today!

I spoke with the doctor afterwards and she confirmed the back of the neck was nice & thin and the nose bone looked good, both are downs markers. I think if they see something that would be reason for concern the doc might be called in to review and go over w/ you, otherwise if nothing is said then don't worry and just wait for the blood results. Waiting is always the hardest part! Hope you get good news soon!!

Same here.
I really like it at Madonna all the Sono Techs I've dealt with are really sweet

I had my NT scan a few weeks ago, at the appt the technician said everything looked good but they need to see the results of the blood test too... They said if everything is good, they dont call... and I never heard anything back from them...
