Not sure what to make of this- UPDATED
So I had my endometrial biopsy on Monday. I was never told not to try this month, so we did. I figured the blood test the day before would tell me anyway.
Well, my blood test on Sun was negative. By my calculation that was 8DPO. So today AF is due and I decided to test just for kicks. I got a positive on a FRER. It's now about 11DPO.
I called the RE to see what to do and the nurse actually told me "it's unlikely that it's a true pregnancy". WTF? Is that even a thing? I thought there really weren't false positives?
Plus when I got pregnant with DS I tested negative on a Friday and positive on a Sunday and that turned out just fine.
Maybe she's trying not to get my hopes up (which they aren't anyway since I've had two chemicals), but couldn't she just have said, ok come in for blood and we'll check it out.
Anyway, beta tmrw morning. Sorry, just venting a little.
***Update- (posted this on TTC also)-
Just got the call. I am pregnant! At least for now. I'm excited, but really don't want to get my hopes up. I go back for a 2nd beta on Sun.
My levels are
hcg- 97
prog- 14
Do those sound good for about 12 dpo?

Not sure what to make of this
I am guessing the nurse feels it may be a chemical but that is a little premature of her because your BETA would be negative 8dpo. HCG usually does not begin excreting into the blood/urine stream til about 11dpo. Just wait for your beta! Sticky dust to you

ITA!! That was definitely premature on her part. Maybe she didn't realize you were only 8DPO?? Anyway good luck with the Beta tomorrow. You will officially know if you are or your not tomorrow Lots of sticky dust to you!

Sounds like a BFP to me! That nurse probably didn't get what you were saying. Don't let her get you upset or confused. Prayers that the beta keeps going up and that chick gets reprimanded!

Great numbers for 12DPO. My numbers were lower than that for 14dPO and I had a healthy DD. Congrats!!!!!!
