AJ has her big bed (sorta)

Thursday and Friday nights she cried before bed. It was so sad. I'd be in there saying my good nights and doing our normal night talk and she'd start to sniffle and cry. What's wrong. I want a big bed. Well geez, ok. I asked if she wanted me to take the side thing off the toddler bed but that wasn't enough. She wants a big bed that she can put sparkles on and have princesses and unicorns for sheets and presents and unicorns for pillows.

Where does she come up with this stuff?

Anyway we last night we made a big production of moving my brother's full size bed into her room. My aunt dropped off her bed set (more drama here). And we moved her toddler bed (as whole) into my brother's room. Just in case she changes her mind.

Bedding drama, the sheets and pillow cases weren't enclosed. I wanted to scream! But I had clean sheets anyway (Queen) so we just used those. Her pillow cases already matched the comforter.

She slept in her big bed last night (after asking me to sleep with her a little bit). Her teddy bear slept on one side and she on the other. she 'loves it' and 'wanted it forever'. LOL

Though she still wants unicorn and presents for pillows.

This morning as we drive out of our community and past her elementary school she says from the back "I'm almost big enough for school." I said yes, when you're 5 you can go to school there. And she replies with a nod "Because I sleep in a big bed"


ETA: We are talking box spring and mattress on the floor. haha Haven't actually bought a frame yet.
