Two more nail questions
1. When you get a mani or a pedi, do you tell them what shape you want, or do you just let them do what they want?
I got a pedi yesterday and she gave me a squared-off nail shape, when my toe nails have an obvious curve to them. I had even cut them short and filed them myself before the pedi because I stubbed my toe the other day and 2 broke, so I figured she would go with the shape I had. My fault for not speaking up beforehand, I know, and I didn't notice the shape till she was all done.
2. Does anyone else get frustrated with they way they put on the polish? They never go anywhere close to the cuticle and it looks awful and mis-shappen. It's more noticeable to me because I tend to go with dark colors, I need to start getting pale/sheer colors from now on.

Re: Two more nail questions
1. I tell them square as possible, and have to tell them not to round the corners at all but for some reason this is hard for them to understand.
2. If they don't go all the way to the sides/cuticle I've been known to tell them to fix it.

Two more nail questions
1) in my experience they usually ask. If they dont, I let them do whatever.
2) Yes!! I hate it! Thats one of the reasons why I hardly get mani/pedis anymore.
