in your experience how long does it take to find a good renter? a month or two?? longer? we have a 2 bed condo looking to rent, thing is there are a few in our development put up for rent as well so Im wondering if this is going to take awhile to get someone to rent it, we would be putting at about the same price as the ones listed. i think we are going to use a realtor to run the checks and everything for us.

I would have your realtor check out "days on the market" for similar rentals in your area, and that should give you an idea.

I don't know where it is, but I am finding rentals to be in scarce supply and they are FLYING, even if they are not in the greatest condition. If it's updated, all the better. My office is in southeast Nassau (Bellmore) and I do a lot of work in that area, and there is such a big demand for rentals right now, especially 2 bedrooms. We see a lot of small 1 bedrooms and whole house rentals, but not many 2 or 3 bedroom apartments.

I actually have 2 different sets of customers looking for a 2 bedroom apartment right now. They are both looking in southeast Nassau, so if the condo you are renting is in that area, FM me some of the details. I may have someone for you!

I am in coram, not quite on market yet but will be.. I will definately message you when I put it on in case you have anyone looking out here- its a great development w/ golf, pools, tennis.
