Cleaning Playtex ventaire bottles
Are they really easy? The bottom rubber part concerns me. Is that easy to clean? I'm really trying to simplify this task and cleaning 10 Dr. Browns a night is taking time away from my girls. (not to mention filling them and dropping all of Twin 2s meds in). I'd switch to regular bottles or just the Dr browns without the inserts but Twin 2 has reflux issues.
They couldn't latch right on the nipples for the drop ins. :(

I find it easy to clean. I dont use a bottle brush, I use a paper towel, I take the bottle apart, there is there nipple, nipple ring, bottle, plastic cap, and the cap for the bottom of the bottle. It doesnt take me that long to clean but I'm only cleaning 3 bottles.

I loathe doing dishes and never thought it was too much to clean them. I just used a bottle brush to scrub the heck out of every part.

I used them for both of my girls, DD#1 had reflux and found them to be the best for her..... as for cleaning/sterilizing them, I used a bottle sanitizer, about $50 and worth every penny. Held 6 bottles, I would load it up and run it every night.

Re: Cleaning Playtex ventaire bottles
Thanks ladies.
Id have about 12 bottles per day (they drink 5 ea then an extra). Our dishwasher is rarely full so I have to hand wash. I'm going to send DH out for them. I feel bad this is taking time from them. I started doing them after they go to bed but then Im up past 10 washing bottles

Re: Cleaning Playtex ventaire bottles
I find them really easy to clean by hand or in the dishwasher. The pieces aren't teeny tiny so they are easy to handle. If you try them I hope they do well with the bottles.

Dd used these..I'd fill a smaller plastic tub with hot hot water and soaked all the pieces then did scrubbing when I rinsed...we had a good experience with them
