What's next after clomid?
Sooooooo, IUI #3 = BFN  Was kinda expecting this one too bc only 1 folllie and it was on the wrong side AGAIN (I only have left tube).
So my question is...What's usually next? I'm going Sat for CD3 and injectable class. What did everyone do after clomid failed? Are there different kinds of injectables? Do you take them for 5 days like the clomid? Anyone have bfns with clomid but success with injectables?
I know every RE is different and has different protocols, just curious what to expect?

I am not so certain, or familiar but my RE was telling me about injectables that are done instead of clomid-
The clomid made my lining too thin and if we need another cycle, he will have me use injectables as well
I believe its the same 5-9 day cycle

My 1st cycle was 50mg of Clomid, Ovidrel shot & b2b IUIs= BFN. I produced one 19mm follie but my lining was too thin. 2nd cycle was Gonal-f injections for 9 days, Ovidrel shot & b2b IUIs= BFP. I produced one 21mm follie and the protocol worked! I am currently 8 weeks pg.
*FYI... I am a big baby when it comes to needles and the injectables were quick and painless. The nurses will explain everything. Good Luck!

Injectables can be controlled much more carefully so chances are better you will produce multiple follies. You'll need more monitoring and chances are you will be on the meds for longer than 5 days, but it just depends on your body. Usually, you take injections once a day, and then use a trigger shot 36 hours before your IUI.
I did 2 rounds of clomid that were BFN (1 follie each time). Then I did an injectable round (3 follies)....which resulted in the  that I'm having on Monday!

Thank you for the info! Did you do b2b IUI? My RE never suggested it, but I think I may bring it up this time.

we did 5 rounds of clomid,never responded..once we did femara i had a response,when we threw in the injectables i made so many more follies!

What's next after clomid?
Thank you! I'm having my CD3 visit sat and signed up for injectable class. Hoping we go straight for injections. Clomid didn't really do much for me either

What's next after clomid?
Clomid alone never worked for me. It took 5 days of 150mg of clomid 3 days of 100mg if follistim and the trigger shot to get me a bfp. I'm currently 27w pg.
