BTDT Moms-what to keep/return

My shower was this past weekend and we got 90% of the items on our registry plus things we did not register for.
I am going to BBB to return a few things and I am not sure which of these to keep/return.

-Fisher Price Lil Lamb Infant Seat
-Newborn Rock N Play
-MamaRoo Swing
-Snagubunny Swing

Our house is DEF not big enough for all this stuff & they are all so similar.
I would like to keep ONE of these at my parents since they will be watching DD when I go back to work.

which should I leave at their house?
which should I keep at mine?
which do I return?

I'd personally keep one swing. My friend has the rock and play thing, and I know that my kids would not have liked it even though everyone raves about it. My kids wanted to be in motion all the time. They weren't even thrilled with the bouncy seat until they got older.

You can always return and re-buy if you find your child would rather something else than a swing.

The Rock "N" Play was the only thing DD would sleep in for her first 6 weeks... I wouldn't return it just yet. Swings are great b/c they keep the kid in motion, and DD loved that as well. I'd keep one swing and the rock n play, and see what happens. You can also return all but one thing and if you need, send someone out to buy what you need when the time comes, instead of keeping too much.

I returned the swing we had, we used it once. Well, tried to at least, my DS hated it. We kept playmats and bouncer seat. I suggest just trying things out to see what the baby likes best and then return.

id keep a swing...one that moves BOTH SIDE TO SIDE and BACK AND FOURTH....my song hated themotion of a traditional swing and ONLY would go side to side...

Didnt have any of the others so Id say return the rest...when you go to friends houses, try their things out and if the baby loves it, then go and buy it...no sense in wasting the money on it and opening it if the baby is just going to hate it in the long run, then your stuck with trying to sell it...

Definitely keep the rock n play. It folds flat, and would be easy to even bring back and forth to your parents house. I know people rave about swings, and everyone told me I was crazy not to have 1, but we never got 1 so I can't say whether or not to keep it. I know we didn't miss it. IDK if I'd recommend the seat or not. In the very beginning, we put DD in it a lot, but as the months went on she liked it less and less and we just used the rock n play more often. In hindsight, I might've returned the bouncy seat for an infant to toddler rocker instead. It really does all depend on the baby though. Congrats and good luck!

Every baby is different so its hard to say. Some kids I know loved their swing. My DD hated it. She liked her bouncer. People rave about the rock and play so I am def going to try that this time around. I would say return the snugabunny or mamaroo since those are similar. I may try the mamaroo also. Im no help

I'd keep 2 swings, one for each house. DS got quite a bit of use out of the swings. My parents watched him while i worked FT and DS had a swing there, same swing in each house. Was a lifesacer starting around week 7 and then as time went on he just really enjoyed it. Wasn't in there too much but we would have missed the swing if we didn't have it. Because my parents watched DS M-F his 1st year we had 2 of quite a bit of things.

I'd keep it all. If you don't use it, then return. BBB is great like that.
I have that swing and DS loved it. The rnp is nothing like the others, I used it as a bassinet for 4mos. The bouncer is great if you want to ale a shower/pee and bring the baby in the bathroom with you. I had the mamaroo and wasn't really impressed. DS didn't love it like I thought he would. It got the least amount of use and was the most expensive. However, given that you will need something for another house, I'd go with the mamaroo.

I'd return one of the swings. Everything else I would keep.
