BOO!!! I FAILED THE 1 HOUR
I know this happens to a lot of people but Im soo not looking foward to going for the 3 hour :( apparently you have to be under 139 and I was 154! what aqre my chances I will pass? Oh ya and Im a lil anemic

BOO!!! I FAILED THE 1 HOUR
I haven't had my glucose test yet but my cousin just went through this. Her 1 hour test she failed by 80 points and was convinced she was going to fail her 3 hour test. She ended up passing the 3 hour no problem. Hope this helps! Good luck!

there's hope! I failed my 1 hour, by a lot ( I don't think the huge Dove chocolate bar the day before was the best idea!) and ended up passing my 3 hour with flying colors. good luck!

I failed my 1 hr. test two weeks ago too!...I think I got a 145 (so you're not that far off)
Passed the 3 hr one with flying colors.
I think you'll be fine, just follow the fast the day before
3hr is miserable, bring lots of material to read and keep yourself occupied!

I don't know why some docs still do this test.
I had a 2hour one and that was it. I failed and found out I had GD.
To be honest it was the best thing that happened to me during my pregnancy.

My sister failed her 1 hr. with a pretty high #, but passed the 3 hr. I had anemia also, they just put me on iron pills.

i failed the 1 hour with a 155 and passed the three hour. just dont eat too much sugar the day before and drink a lot of water.

With both of my pregnancies I passed the GTT but still wound up with GD in my third trimester when they saw excess fluid and that the baby was too large. You never know it seems. I thought I was in the free and clear this time around but nope...just got diagnosed a month ago because of the same reasons.

I haven't taken mine yet, next week..... but they check you iron levels at the test? I'm curious if I'm anemic because I've been anemic my whole life and the first blood tests said I was not....so I'm curious!

Yep they check the iron at that test.. I have been anemic before so wasnt so surprised.. I think my vitamins aren't a strong dose of iron so I need to take extra iron pills:(
