Pediatricians?
Can anyone recommend a pediatrician in the Bethpage/wantagh/levittown area? Thx!

We decided to go with Central Island Pediatrics. They are on Old Bethpage Road in Old Bethpage.

I take my DS to Central LI Peds in Old Bethpage.
There are 5 Drs. My main one is Dr Wolfson and I love him. He is wonderful with DS and is cautious but not overly so. Always takes his time with us and I never feel rushed.
I have seen 3 of the other Drs and spoke to the last one on the phone. I am iffy about one but I only see him for sick visits if I have no choice.
Open 7 days a week. Waiting room has separate areas for sick and well. They sick is almost like another room because of the way it is set up....they tell you to call ahead with a newborn and they will get a room ready for you.
A friend recommended them and I ended up havign my DS 3 weeks ealy and never got to visit Peds so I just made an appt with them for DS and figured if I was unhappy I would just change......never even crossed my mind after my first appt.

I definitely will! Since I'm delivering in the city they can't check him out there so they said to call once I deliver to set up the first appointment... so I will request him then!

Dr Grillo!! Love him, I can always get a same day appointment when one of my kids are sick. They have separate sick and well sides. And he is just a great guy! When my son was in the hospital, he came to visit him, even though it wasn't a hospital he was affiliated with, just to check on him!! He has great bedside manner!

That's what I did. They don't go to good Sam so I called the day after I delivered and the made an appt for me the day after I was released. Oh and my 2nd choice would be dr gilinkin.

Another for Dr. Grillo. He is great, very responsive and has a great sense of humor!!!
