I cheaped out a few weeks ago and bought a John Frieda/Frizz Ease dryer I found at Duane Reade. It is terrific.

I LOVEEEEE my super solano.
I bought it & it was too 'strong' for me, i have fine hair. If you have thick hair it’s an awesome dryer!
I have the red Chi low EMF one and love it. My first one lasted 13 years of everyday use!

I totally agree with this. I have thick wavy hair that I blow out, and I need a hot blow dryer. I wouldn't recommend it for fine hair.

BaByliss Pro Ferrari Black Volare V2 Blow Dryer - got it at Harmon. So much better then my Elchim which broke. I have also had a Solano and love it - lasted me almost 10 years.
