Thank you for posting the pic! I just can't keep my eyes pod this dress. I have a cute mud pie outfit/tutu for her actual birthday, her party will be the following weekend with about 60 friends/family we are not sure if we are going to have it home or at a restaurant.

Agree. I love it.
I think I would maybe even frame it in a shadowbox as a reminder of the special day.
If I had a little girl, she'd be in that dress on a random Thursday.
Are you going to do any little hair accessories with it?
eta: honestly - even if you were having a backyard BBQ that was low-key and everyoe else was in t-shirts and jeans..I would STILL tell you to have her wear it.
You can only dress them yourself for so long, KWIM?

ITA!!! It's her first birthday........go crazy. I put my DD in a dressy, poofy, girly dress. You only get one first birthday..........make her look exta special no matter what you do for her that day. 
And........I loooooooooove that dress too!!!!!!!

I love it for a first birthday. Depending on her mobility, I would have a backup outfit just in case. My daughter wasn't quite walking at her 1st birthday and crawling around in her pretty dress wasn't working for her, so we had to change her eventually.
