question about breast pads
I will be formula feeding..do i need the breast lanolin pads for nipples anyway? Does the hospital provide these? I will be delivering at north shore manhasset

I delivered last week and am formula feeding. My milk only came in this past Thursday and since then I have just been wearing tight sports bras. I have yet to use a breast pad. They have leaked only a few drops. Everyone is different so you might leak more. I would just buy a pack and have them if needed. The hospital did not provide any to me

I would definitely have them on hand just in case! After my first pregnancy I did not breast feed (only carried to 17wks) and even then my milk came in pretty bad (or pretty good, depending on how you look at it)
Anyway ... I was told to wear tight sports bras but I absolutely needed those pads. My dh got me a box from the local drug store. May as well buy a box to have handy just in case.
