Newly Pregnant with a ?
Hi! Just found out I am pregnant and am so excited!
Quick question- is it normal/ok to not see "my dr" but rather another dr in the practice for my first appt. at 8 weeks? I guess my specific dr. is booked up? Thanks!

Yes
Whatever practice you go to, Drs, Drs & midwives, you'll see who is available and they try to have you see everyone so when you have baby you'll have met all.
I switched from an all OB practice to an OB & midwife practice because among many other reasons, I got more time with the midwives and them knowing who I am etc.

Yes, if there are multiple doctors that delivery they will make you see all of them.

Yes thats totally fine! They usually will make you try and see all the Drs. in your practice throughout your 9 months anyway. Congratulations!!

My doctor is having me see a few in his office as well...very normal...
