Belly Ring

Anyone in here have a belly piercing? If so when were you advised to remove it? TIA ladies

I have one and left it in - I got on of those flexible maternity rings! Had my baby 3 months ago and regular bar bell is back in!

But if you plan to take it out for good, mine got super tight when I poppe around 25 weeks.

I do. They told me at the initial appt I'd ahve to take it out or eventually it would rip

I'm going to get one of the flexible maternity ones.

I'm not taking this thing out. Period. I had to have it re pierced last spring after and old piercing ripped out and I'm not going through the process again.

In my first pregnancy at my 16wk appointment, it was getting in the way of the sono so the tech suggested I take it out. I had issues at that sono and never put it back... It's been belly ring free ever since and I think since I took it out while I was small, it healed nicely and I only have a little hole. I'm hoping this time if I carry to term the hole doesn't get stretched out, but if it does it does!

Is there a specific name for the maternity rings? or is that what I should be searching for?

I wish I took mine out sooner. I wound up with an X stretch mark there because I left it in until my 7 month.
