beautiful creatures (film coming out feb 14 - kind of like twilight?)

Anyone see previews for this?

It looks very twilight-ish but maybe more dark?

Anyone know anything about it?

Found this online:

The rights to Beautiful Creatures were purchased by Alcon Entertainment in 2009, with Richard LaGravenese signing on to write and direct. [13] Erwin Stoff, Broderick Johnson and Andrew Kosove will produce the movie. [14][15]In February 2012 it was announced that Viola Davis had been cast as the character of Amma[16] and Emma Thompson was to be both Mrs. Lincoln and Sarafine.[17] Jeremy Irons has been cast as Macon Ravenwood and Emmy Rossum as Ridley. Alden Ehrenreich and Alice Englert will star as Ethan Wate and Lena Duchannes.[18]

The movie began filming in May 2012,[19] with much of the proposed filming locations being in and around New Orleans. [20] The film is currently set to release on February 14th, 2013.[21][22]

I know it was a novel first. It's the first in a series. I'm one of those people who has to read the book before seeing the movie, so I was going to download it onto my kindle after I'm done with the book I'm reading now.
