I told my mom right away but we did something fun/cute for ILs. They hadnt seen the house we just closed on so we gave them the tour. We put 2 peices of paper on the walls of the nursery with sono pics that said "Baby A crib" and "baby B crib". It was a total fail since they just didnt get it. First they thought the previous owner left it there. Then they preferred to think we were just playing house and thinking way ahead of ourselves like a bunch of idiots. It could have been really cute though.

we had both our parents sit to take a picture.. we wanted to "test" a setting on the camera.. of course all 4 were grumping the whole time.. and then DH blurted it out.. we took a before picture, so we can have the before and after.. makes me smile when I think about it..

I photoshopped my sono pic and said "Hi Grandma" on it... And put it in a card. Also with a Bib that says What happens at Grandmas stays at Grandmas.

I am always giving my mom an envelope of pictures. So i took a picture of the stick and put it at the end of her copies and when she got to the last one, she starred at it foot a minute and finally figured it out.
AWE!!! That's clever!

That was very creative  I'm sorry the plan didnt work out
