Re: fast drying top coat

It's expensive ($18 I think?), but I am in love with ButterLondon PD Quick Topcoat. It dries *almost* as fast as Seche Vite, but doesn't shrink the polish at all. It also lasts a long time.

I buy the base coat/top coat set and it runs about $25.

A cheaper option is Cult Nails Wicked Fast, it's only $8 but you have to order it online, and it does cause a tiny bit of shrinkage - not nearly as bad as Seche though.

I use Nail Magic (a nail growth stim/strengthener) as a basecoat because I have terrible nails, but if I use something else it's either CND Stickey or the Butter London Nail Foundation base coat.

i use nailtiques (prob didn't spell that right lol) as a base because my nails are bad too............nail magic though i am going to have to look in to!

when you say shrinkage, what do you mean? i was never into doing my won nails until recently, so this is all new to me lol!

Shrinkage is when the nail polish shrinks from the tip of the nail and it shows the white of your nails.

Yup, exactly. I also found that Seche Vite make the polish shrink around my cuticles too, so weird.

Re: fast drying top coat

i use essie good to go now after trying a bottle of seche vite. The seche vite has the shrinking issues that others mentioned and also stinks like WHOA. I found that it thickened up really quickly (which is great when you want a smooth topcoat for chunky glitter polish) which has yet to happen with the Essie brand. The drying time on essie is slightly longer I find, only about an extra minute, but otherwise is totally better for me!

Re: fast drying top coat

Essie Good to Go. But I recently bought Zoya Armor, so I'm going to try that out tomorrow.
