St Charles experience?
Hi ladies!
I'll be delivering at St Charles, and I'm wondering how your stay was. I've been admitted to that hospital a few times, and NEVER had a problem, I'm just wondering how the maternity area is.
Silly question- do they allow your DH champagne after the baby is born?
And did any of you pre-register?
Thanks so much!

Loooooooooved St Charles. Delivered my DD there in 2008.
It was small and quiet. Everyone on staff was so wonderful and the food was SO yummy. I really had a wonderful experience, I will be delivering my DS there in just a few weeks. You will love it!!!........I had no complaints.

Re: St Charles experience?
I've delivered twice there, great experience. The nurses are very good, and they try to fill up rooms as singles unless there are too many births. Both times I had a room to myself. Food was excellent! The bathroom shower could be a little bigger, but that would be my only complaint.

St Charles experience?
My boobs and butt touched the sides of the shower stalll!! You would think a maternity ward bathroom would be huge to accommodate new mommies..lol.. BUT otherwise it was wonderful..seriously the mat nurses are awesome. The labor room had a nice view, the food was a buffet that was for hours .. no rush to eat food sitting in our room with that cover on it. I also was alone in my room and it was comfortable, quiet. Im sure you will feel the same. Good Luck and Congratulations.
