headaches
this pregnancy, i have been having very bad headaches that last all day and night. i am reluctant to take tylenol, but yesterday i took two in the morning and two in the evening bc i was desperate. long story short, this morning this damn headache is still here. i have tried caffeine too, but nothing seems to be helping. can anyone identify or provide some headache busting tips???
thank you!

Re: headaches
How far along are you? I got headaches early in my pregnancy but they went away as my body adjusted to the hormones, I think. You can take 2 regular (or 1 extra strength) Tylenol no problem. Also make sure you're drinking enough water and eating. Feel better!

I have chronic migraines and my head pain was unbearable my entire first trimester-I lived on tylenol (which barely did anything but I had no other option.) My OB and neurologist both agreed that tylenol is fine as long as you do not exceed the 24 dosing limitations.

Re: headaches
ice or heat on my head/shoulders helped. I have one of the aroma therapy heat/cool shoulder pads but even a washcloth would help. I would literally lay down all day some days. The tv was dd's best friend for a few weeks when I couldn't move. Caffine helped, tylenol helped sometimes. Iced tea, water.
They did go away in the 2nd trimester.

Basically this. I take Excedrin Tension Headache which is just Tylenol/Acetaminophen with Caffeine. I have had a headache since yesterday evening and it's just not going away.
