NT Scan & Gender Determination
For those of you who did the scan did they tell you the gender there? I have been reading that sometimes you do see the gender? I really don't want to find out that early if its not that accurate

I didnt find out cause we are Team Green.. But, what I have heard its too early to determine the gender.. I would wait until the 20 weeker so its more accurate!

good I feel much better now because I am not sure if DH can come to the scan yet and I will feel terrible if they even were to mentioned anything related to gender. Ok thanks girls!

Ya they usully try not to guess that early.. I rememeber asking if they can tell and they said nah we dont even try to look at this point because its not accurate.

yea i know he is trying his best crossing my fingers  He has been to the other ones and the last one was amazing because baby was moving a lot and he recorded it lol but im hoping he can still make the NT scan

Yeah I hear ya but this one was much more indepth I felt. Plus they zoom in a lot and get different views

12weeks is way too early. 20weeks is when you would find out. And don't trust it 100% any earlier. I was told girl at17w and it was a boy.

Yea it's usually too early. At my NT scan they told me and she seemed pretty sure. It was confirmed at 16 weeks and 20 weeks. Don't know if it was a good guess or she could really tell.

NT Scan & Gender Determination
Mine said she was positive boy and she was right. Also, just as an aside, If you go to these places designed specifically for that, their studies show something like 97% accuracy at 12 weeks. I'm not talking about your run of the mill nt- I mean places that specialize in private gender determination. I knew at 12 weeks with both my kids.

I was told  at my NT scan and it was confirmed at my 20w scan. I am told the tech who did my NT scan is very accurate at 12w, so I think it all depends on the person and the equipment.
With DD1 I was told  at my NT scan, but the tech (a different one) wasn't sure - she said it was a guess.

At mine she asked if I wanted to know, I told her I'm not sure, but she said that's good because I can't tell yet anyway... too early. She told me decide by your 16 wk appt & if you want to know I can tell you then.
