Washer/Dryer
Can anyone recommend a good one to get? (or not to get!)

Re: Washer/Dryer
I have the Whirpool Duet washer and Dryer.
Dare I say they make doing laundry enjoyable!
The normal cycles on both machines are the same (34 minute) so there is no dryer back log. Image Attachment(s):

Whirlpool front loaders- they were a lot cheaper but still have a lot of the same fuctions. I love them.

Re: Washer/Dryer
The only thing I would recommend is to try and get a stainless steel tub in the washer.

Re: Washer/Dryer
I have a Kenmore front loader and I love it. I had a Maytag Neptune, one of the original ones, and it had so many problems with mold/mildew that there were class action law suits against Maytag (supposedly they have fixed the problems in the newer ones). However, I was so turned off to Maytag by the issues.
The Kenmore we have is made by Whirlpool.

Which models do you have? I see Duets but they are two different prices. I would love something with a 34 minute cycle.
