Why don't men get it sometimes??
I am due in 13 days....and have been having contractions off and on...so pretty much  can come any day.
Today DH decides he wants to go watch 2 football games at a friends house gone for like 8 hours. He was only 5 mins away so wasn't so bad.
And tomorrow he was trying to be gone all day again further away. I told him No way! You were gone today and now you want to be gone tomorrow all day and farther. I said if something happens then I have to wait for you to get home.
Why do they not get this pregnancy thing sometimes???? 
Ok done venting.

I honestly think they have no clue! I'm 7 days away from giving birth and DH has been drinking all night. I haven't had any contractions like you, but if I were to go into labor, he'd have to sober up or I'd be driving myself to the hospital!!!
At least he's only 5 minutes away -- when you start having regular labor hopefully he'll get into gear!

Oh man!!! Yea he is not allowed to get drunk until this baby comes out. If I even get his voice mail....I'm like what if I was in labor? lol

LOL! I never even thought of that! I wanted SO badly to call him on Friday to say I was in labor because he was at the movies! I will probably kil him if I was trying to get in touch with him and he doesn't answer!

I'd be ok with DH being out b/c labor is usually not a quick thing. I mean, you won't make him stay home from work, right?
But I would definitely NOT be ok with him being out drinking, and possibly getting drunk. That's just not ok at this point.
