I follow my peds schedule. Hep b in hospital. 2 bs hep b at first visit. Then 2 others at 2 mo.

Followed the schedule and recommendation of my ped. DD had her first shot in the hospital and has gotten everything else on schedule, no delays. I will do the same with this baby.

same here...only delayed a few times because he had a cold but we were totally caught up by 24months.

Crashing to share my experience.
The first I heard about the hep b was when DD was a few hours old and I just wasn't prepared to decide. The ped said we could wait, that it wasn't a big deal, so we waited. She got her first shots at 2 months and was fine. Got her first dose of hep b at 3 months and was inconsolable for two hours the next day. The dr. had told me there is rarely a reaction to that shot, but most likely her leg was sore. Had she been less than a day old I never would have made the connection between my screaming newborn and a shot. I didn't know her personality, nursing was going VERY slow and I likely would have thought she was starving not hurting. Thinking back, I'm so glad I waited and was able to recognize her reaction. I will 100% wait with future children as well. She'll be fully caught up at her 9 month appointment so in the end it's not a big deal. Just something to think about for those who are debating what to do.

My GF who is a Dr. told me NOT to get the Hep. shot in the hospital and wait until the first/second ped. appointment. Then we do one shot at a time every 3-4 weeks... My DS finished his series of shots by the time he was 2...I will do the same with my second baby...I wanted to know what shot was giving what reaction and I also didnt want to put too many things in that little body :( KWIM? its a personal preference...

I declined the hep B in the hospital for both my kids. I figured birth is eventful enough!

Same here. The one ped that I went to visit has a schedule where they only get one shot at a time during a visit. So if I choose that ped then I will be following their schedule.

Declined hep b in hospital. Started vaccinations at 2 months at Dr's office. Their policy is 2 shots (sticks) per visit (They're combo shots so its more then 2 vaccinations really.)
