Spinoff..cost to refabrichairs?

I say refabric because they are wood chairs with fabric seats..does anyone know what it costs? It seems simple, so I'm hoping not too much!

If if is just the wooden seat it would not be too much. And it is pretty simple to do. It is going to depend on the type of fabric you choose and the size of the chairs. I think ( but I am not sure so please don't hold me to this) it is about a half yard per chair.
If you go to Joann's for the fabric their staff is really knowledgeable and they would be able to tell you how much fabric you need approximately. If you could bring one of the seats with you to the store that would be even more helpful.

i did this myself. i just measured a seat so i could estimate how much fabric i would need and then unscrewed the seat and stapled the fabric on each. i have to say it looks great!

Was it hard? My dad used to do it to ours..you just put it on top of the existing fabric?

i just ripped off the previous fabric (used a screw driver to pull out the staples) and then cut out enough fabric to leave about 2 inches around the border and then made sure to pull the fabric tightly and staple. i would put a few staples on one side, then pull it tight on the opposite side and put a few staples in then repeat.

and if you mess up and its night tight enough, you just pull the staple out and do it again! it's a very forgiving project.
