Pediatrician appt
I'm meeting with a pediatrician Monday...is there anything I should ask or bring with me?

Pediatrician appt
There's nothing you need to bring. As far as things to ask, I would ask the following...
Is there a seperate well visit and sick waiting room? If not, are infants who are there for well visits brought right in? Seen during specific hours that there are no sick visits?
What are your hours?? Early mornings, late nights, weekends??
Do you limit the number of shots at a visit? (Personally my ped would only do 2 "pricks" at a visit.)
What is your well visit schedule? (Mine was 2 days, 2 weeks, every month 1-6 months, 8 months, 10 months, 1 year. 15 months, 18 months, 2 years, 2.5 years 3 years and then yearly after that.)
Is there an answering service for emergencies after hours?

They told me everything I needed to know, I did inquire about vaccines though...

I know we are in the same area. Which Ped are you visiting?
When u went they answered most of my questions as well.
I asked how sick appts were handled vs well visits. Hours. How are emergency phone calls after hrs handled. And if they come see the baby in the hospital and how they are notified when I give birth.
I went to bayside pediatrics I think on bell. Loved the doc n office staff. Parking sucked really bad though.

the crazy thing is that i used to go to that group when i was younger...and there are still a few doctors from when i went there....but im meeting with one of the newer ones
their hours are:
Mon: 8:00am - 7:00pm
Tue: 8:00am - 7:00pm
Wed: 8:00am - 7:00pm
Thurs: 8:00am - 7:00pm
Fri: 8:00am - 7:00pm
Sat: 8:00am - 2:00pm
Sun: 8:00am - 2:00pm
