Re: can someone explain...
I was early - 16 weeks. It feels like a little flutter. Like something just moved in your stomach but it wasn't you. I've heard other people describe it like gas, but it felt more like an involuntary movement.

Re: can someone explain...
I compare mine to a butterfly or a bird flapping its wings. It was really quick maybe three flutter movements at a time. I felt it at 16 weeks.

I was 16 weeks. It felt like a butterfly flutter at first but then sort of like bubbles.
Why are you feeling them??

NO worries. WIth my first I felt him all the time at 16 weeks. Now with this pregnancy, I only started feeling consistent movement at about 23 weeks or so. Sometimes the placenta can be in the front and you won't feel movement as strong as you would expect.

I've heard this as well. Not to worry, you'll be feeling that thump, thump soon enough.

Re: can someone explain...
I think I have felt the baby moving. Like many of you described, it feels like flutters. I'm not sure, however, when it is the baby and when it is indigestion .

Re: can someone explain...
the best way I can describe the first flutters was like when you have a vein twitch in your skin- really quick. It started around 17 weeks.
I am now only feeling consistent little bumps at 22 weeks.

Re: can someone explain...
It was early for me, about 13.5 weeks. It felt like popcorn popping in my belly or like someone was lightly poking me with a pencil.
