high blood pressure/preeclampsia
The nurse at work took my blood pressure yesterday bc I had a headache and she said I looked flushed...at first, it was high... 147/93. She retook it minutes later with my arm elevated and it was normal. 117/77
At my dr's appointment later that day, the nurse took it and it was 120/100. The dr took it again 5 minutes later and it was 140/100.
The sent me to L&D for more evaluation due to the high readings.
All 5 readings at the hospital over a two hour period were normal and all of my labs were normal, no sign of preeclampsia.
Anyone have a similar experience or know what may be going on? How can my blood pressures vary so much from one minute to the next? I don't know if I should be concerned.
