Potty trained but not at night-advice needed
Hi there!
My 3 1/2 year old daughter has been potty trained for almost a year but was still wearing overnight diapers and waking up wet.
We just stopped using overnights and she is wetting her bed at night (and seems to be oblivious to it).
Should I put her back in overnights? I feel like she'll never wake up dry in that case but if she's wetting the bed each night in underwear and has no clue she's doing it, how will she ever stop wetting overnight!
Ack I'm clueless here on what's best???
Anyone gone through this with suggestions??
Thank u!!!

Re: Potty trained but not at night-advice needed
I have the same issue with my son. He resisted going #2 on the potty for about 1 year after being pee trained. because he was so used to wearing a pull up at night he is peeing in his bed about 2-3 times a week. A couple of nights I woke him to pee and he didn't have accidents. I assume we just have to go through a month or so of changing sheets and clothes until they get the feeling to wake them?

Re: Potty trained but not at night-advice needed
This happened with older DS. First we tried to just change his sheets everytime he had an accident but we realized he didn't seem to mind sleeping in a wet bed so we started to wake him at night to let him pee, then we'd put him back to bed.
We did that for a few weeks, changing the time from early in the morning (2-3am) gradually to 10pm and then we said if he went a week without any accidents, he could earn himself a new quilt/comforter -- up until then he'd only been sleeping with a fitted sheet and some fleece blankets because I couldn't take washing everything constantly.
