EBF moms: feeding?
DD2 is becoming a snacker. She'll Bf for a few minutes and refuse to eat more... and then is giving hunger sigmals 45 mins to an hour later. I can live with it during the day, but its brutal at night. Can I change this habit or should I just brew more coffee? FWIW she gained 2.5 lbs in a month, so its not a supply issue.

What happens when you feed her after that hour when she's acting hungry? Does she eat well or is it just another few minutes?
She's still young, she may just need to grow out of it a bit. That's about the age I started with eat, play, sleep with DD. It worked well to get her to go down for regular naps and not fall asleep nursing. She would eat well when she woke up bc at that point it was a good amount of time between feedings. When she started with the snacking again it usually meant she was ready to go longer between naps/feedings.
As far as night, maybe you could try just a paci if she wakes soon after a feeding.

Sometimes she will eat for another few minutes, other times it seems like she'll have more of a meal than a snack. I didn't have this with Dd1...

Maybe Dad can help. I found that if I went in and got the baby he would want to nurse. Sometimes he'd actually eat but other times I just felt like it was for comfort. Try sending Dad in to settle the baby if it's not time for feeding.
