Build a Bear parties???
I'm going to one next week.. what are they like? Do kids get to pick a toy to fill or do they all get the same? Trying to figure out what to tell DS.

Re: Build a Bear parties???
I asked about it last time I was there. They get to pick an animal out of a group pre-selected by the host. Depending on the budget they can be super simple (basic bear with t shirt) or elaborate (liscensed character with outfit from hat to shoes to underwear). I think the minimum to spend was $15 per kid

Re: Build a Bear parties???
I was there today at Smithhaven and the group of girls all had the same bear. After they finished they paraded around the store and said 'look at my bear, look at my bear' It was less than enthusiastic.

Re: Build a Bear parties???
One thing to keep in mind is that absolutely no food will be served at the party as Build a Bear does not allow food in their stores. Any food will most likely be served in the food court after the actual party.
DD went to one a few years ago and for the price, I was not impressed. Too many kids and a LOT of waiting. Not good with 25+ 3yo!
