You sit with her in her office...go over medical history..she then tells you to call her back when u get your period. I got mine the next day so things moved fast. She has hubby schedule sa, I already went for bloodwork and sonogram.. Going for hsg test tues. I was really nervous going in and feel much better now. Let me know if you have any questions!!

Re: Dr. Sung of RS of NY
I liked her at first, but as time went on (and no BFP) I found found her unsympathetic and not really willing to look outside the box or try different protocols.
I LOVED Dr. Trivax, but felt he had no "power" at the practice. Twice we had specific protocols set with him and they were overridden by either Dr. Sung or Dr. Saketos (whom I LOATHED).
When meeting with them, make sure you really do your infertility research because there are things they didn't check me for because they felt I was too young and then it turns out these were issues.
I am not saying they won't get you pregnant. I know people who have gotten pregnant as patients of RSONY. However, I do think they aren't as willing as some other REs to really explore all options.
I went to RSONY for over a year and had a large cyst for the entire time and no one mentioned possible endometriosis. I switched REs and on the first appointment my new RE discovered Endometriosis and I had surgery. I keep wondering if I wasted over a year (9 iuis and I failed IVF) because RSONY missed something really important (my severe endometriosis).
Good Luck!

She did one of my IUI's and she was very nice, but I didn't have a consult with her or anything so I can't give any detailed opinions. Loved RSNY, I went to the Stony Brook office and mostly saw Dr. Cain, Dr.Stelling, and Dr. SanRoman.

I love Dr. Sung! She was so supportive and kept me going when I thought it would never happen. After I told her my sister was pregnant she told me well you will have twins to beat her lol. I do have twins and I thank Dr. Sung for them everyday.

Re: Dr. Sung of RS of NY
I only met her once, she did my first IUI. She seemed pretty nice and was the only one who didn't hurt me with the IUI.
My favorite is Dr. Stelling. I feel like we have similar personalities and I know a lot of people don't like that's he's a fast talker, but thats kinda my favorite part about him. I'm a fast talker so when people talk slow I get agitated LOL

I think she's really nice. I got pregnant with DS after going to RSNY. She really takes the time to explain procedures and go over everything. I liked the staff as well. There was only 1 doctor there I didn't like but I dont know her name.

Re: Dr. Sung of RS of NY
Thank you ladies. I scheduled with her bc she was recommended. I hope I like her! I am a nervous talker in general and I like to be heard out. I am giving it a try and nervous but very excited at the same time. DH will not come because he is watching DS. Do SO usually go to the consult appointments?? I want him to be a part of it but I know DS will be a huge distraction.

Re: Dr. Sung of RS of NY
DH didn't go with me to the consult. He doesn't really understand everything as much as I do so he would have just been asking questions that I already knew the answers to. I needed to be there, ask the questions and then I just let DH know over dinner that night.

Exactly!!!! lol At parent teacher night, I want to ring his neck with all of the questions that were already discussed lol When will she want him to do the SA? (That's what he is "nervous" about )
