How bad was your 2 mo olds shot reaction?
My girls had 2 shots today. Roto and polio. Twin 2 is having a bad cranky reaction. Crying a lot which isn't like her at all. Took her temp and it was like 97 so I went to retake and she started pooping so I let her finish. I fed her thinking maybe she was hungry although it was an hour from feeding time. She spit up half her bottle. She has randomly done this before though. Now she just hanging with me with a paci but she is whiney and not herself.. Does this sound like a shot reaction?
They don't want me giving Tylenol for 12 hrs. bc it can lessen effects. Idk if I can even give it. She will be 3 mo tues but is under 10 lb.

How bad was your 2 mo olds shot reaction?
I don't think DD had any reaction at 2 months. She was fussy after her hep B at three months which they told me she was not likely to have a reaction to. I was hesitant to give tylenol so I just gave her some skin to skin time which got her to pass out. Did the same after her 4 month shots and both time she napped on me and woke up happier. Probably not that easy to do with another baby to handle but it's an idea.

I am pro Tylenol... Anything that will make both of you feel better! I give it before we even go to doc now... I made mistake first time around and didn't give it until she had a reaction and omg... Screams like I had never heard before... I vowed never again to wait to give Tylenol.

Ds had no reaction. He just slept a little more that day! Which was great since he never slept.
I would say that crankiness could be a reaction to the shots. I wonder why your ped said no to Tylenol. My ped always said if he seems irritable or has a fever from the shot to give Tylenol.

They said it lessens the effect of the shot and to wait 12 hrs. She was cranky a bit after she ate then I changed her jammies and she was smiley but still whiney. Now they are both sleeping in their swings. Wheew!

DS took a 4 hour nap after those shots and then slept all night!!! He was fine the next day... Her legs may hurt. I would try tylenol...

2, 4, and 6 months she was a cranky mess!!! At 2 months it was worse. She was actually whimpering as she tried to fall asleep. I hated that round of shots! Low fever and I would say the day after was worse.

How bad was your 2 mo olds shot reaction?
DS just got his 2 month shots on Monday. Surprisingly he is okay. He was a bit fussy Monday afternoon into Tuesday but by Wednesday he was his usual happy self. He did get a little warm but I gave him some tylenol and it went down.

Dd was a little fussy so we gave her Tylenol when we got home as per our ped
