uncomfortable/cramping
i am 36 weeks and up until now have been fortunate to not have an braxton hicks
Today I have this pretty constant discomfort/cramping in my belly - under my belly button (center of stomach). is it BH? is it maybe just the weight im carrying finally starting to get to me? anyone else feel something similar? it lasts for a few minutes then goes away but comes back. baby is fine and active should i call my dr? next appt is Monday?

When I had BH, it felt more like a tightening. I’d say this is just your body starting to get itself ready for labor in a few weeks.

I just called the dr yesterday bc I was having similar discomfort and cramping in the center of my lower abdomen. Mine was constant too, like a dull ache... Dr just told me to get off my feet and see if it goes away and to call her back if it didn't... she said it was probably pressure from the baby moving down...she didn't seem too concerned...after a while, mine went away... maybe try doing the same thing, but if it doesn't go away in a few hours, then i'd call

thanks ladies! it doesnt sound like BH bc its not tightening. pressure is probably the best way to describe it so ill just take it easy and speak to my dr Monday
