Six Flags Great Escape Lodge & Waterpark.Anyone taken kids there...comments..complaints..
Was thinking of taking kids (5&11) here next weekend. Anyone have a good/bad experience? Any tips? promo codes?

We went there, just for the day pass though since we were staying down the road for a ski thing for my child. It was okay. Not nearly as nice as Great Wolf. No wave pool, and I found it to be incredibly dark in there (we went early evening until closing). The slides are also nothing compared to Great Wolf. It was fun, but I wouldn't drive all that way just for it to be honest. The lifeguards in the upstairs kiddie area were really nasty too. Yelling all the time.

Thanks. Our plan was to stay over night and then head to VT to see family...the place got mixed reviews so wanted to see if anyone here went and how they felt about it.
