Do they pick up your dog crap or are you required to have it cleaned up before they come?

My DH does not pick it up, in fact he does not like when the homeowner does NOT pick it up, because sometimes it gets stuck in his blades on his mowers.

When we had a dog, we had to clean all the poop up before the landscaper came. I don't think it should be their responsibilty to clean it up and it could ruin their machinery.
