when did you tell work
when do you look for things to register for

We told family right away, but everyone else we waited until after our NT scan results. I had the blood test run before the scan, so I got all the results at once.
when did you tell work
I had to tell work around 8 weeks b/c we had an outing that included things like rockclimbing and dodgeball so I obviously had to stay home that day.
when do you look for things to register for
We registered from about 22w on. I'm 35w and still tweaking! But we waited until after we knew the gender.

I am not having a shower, but it works however you want it to work! It's YOUR shower!

ton of questions
The short answer to all of these - whatever works for you.
I told immediate family right away I told work at 6 weeks but we had huge scheduling issues since a few of us were going to be out on Maternity at the same time
I registered after my amnio at 17 weeks
Shower - small but my family is small.

Both times, we told our parents and siblings right away, extended family at 9 weeks, and work at 12 weeks.
With my DD, I started my registry the day I had my NT scan and all looked great.
For my shower, I had coworkers, friends, and family. Maybe 60ish people.

Re: ton of questions
I told my siblings and some close friends during the first trimester, told our parents after the NT scan and then "went public" at around 20 weeks. It's a personal decision, tell people when you are comfortable sharing the news!
I was starting a new job so they knew right away.
I started doing research around 16-17 weeks and then registered around 18 weeks.
You can invite whoever you like to your shower it would depend on how much whoever is hosting is willing to spend.

Tell people when you're comfortable. We told our families around 6 weeks and 8 weeks. We told our friends around 14 weeks. We told the world after we found out what we were having (16 weeks).
when did you tell work
I told work when I was 18 weeks because it was the beginning of the school year. I think I would feel comfortable telling work around 15 weeks.
when do you look for things to register for
We registered when we found out the gender (16 weeks). Some people like doing research before -- it's never too early to start looking for things you like!

Who is paying for it? What do they say? I invited close friends and family.
