Heartburn?
Ouch! Last night i had my first ever, in my entire life heartburn... it started really late like around 9ish... i ate dinner at 6.. and it was mostly stuff i eat on a regular basis... except the eggplant...
then i had 1 twizzler... could it have been the twizzler? it started right after i ate it... and i also never had them yet this pregnancy..
and now my stomach is kind of burning... i had a glass of milk before i went to bed, i slept basically sitting up... and sometimes i feel like i might puke.
This is by far the worst thing ive experienced with this pregnancy...

ha, i just popped a zantac before I opened this thread.
welcome to the club 
its 100% normal! carry tums! anything and everything brings it on for me. I think it is more about the lack of digestive room than what I am actually eating.
its gotten to the point that I take 1 zantac in the AM and one in the PM or I cannot make it through.

its gotten to the point that I take 1 zantac in the AM and one in the PM or I cannot make it through.
i was told that i cant take tums with in a certain time of taking my thyroid meds... i actually didnt take it this morning because i thought i was gonna throw up.
i really wish i didnt go to work today... lol

synthroid or levothyroxine? hmm, no one ever told me that. i dont really take tums anyway, they dont do enough. If it continues, try to lower strength zantac (i think 75). Takes maybe 20 mins to kick in and you are good

Heartburn?
For instant relief of heartburn my go-to remedy was always gaviscon. It worked in seconds and was a life saver when my heartburn got bad at the end.

Welcome to the club!!! And when I say club I mean the meanest most despicable and disgusting club ever!!! HAHA!!! I get heartburn everyday and my doctor said only tums so I've been living with it. Last night it was so bad that my chest felt like it was going to burn off. My favorite symptom of heartburn in when I burp up vomit into my mouth! Lovely!!!

I recently started with this also. Water really sets it off sometimes. My doctor told me Tums would likely not work this late in pregnancy but they've been doing the job for me luckily! It's no fun, especially when it means you can't sleep! Feel better!

I was able to sleep normal. I feel so much worse right now than i did last night... when i feel nauseous i revert back to being a child...

Heartburn?
My heartburn was horrible at the end. I would try and take soemthing...I would have a bottle of Maylox near me at all times. I even would wake up in the middle of the night and take some.

ugh sorry you're going through this. i had bad heartburn when i was pregnant with DS. the only thing that relieved it was when he was finally born!! and the old wives tale was actually true for me, he came out with a ton of hair!

Heartburn?
I live on tums...I carry it all the time and have stashes all over the place...its the worst feeling and I get it pretty much when I eat ANYTHING...I have had it since the beginning and I think it will only get worse

I think it might be more than just hb. Ive had diharrea and i thought i was going to pass out or puke on the train. No fever as of an hr ago 98.2.. The baby seems to be acting normal...
I just tried the gaviscon in case it is hb... I needed something that would work asap. Man that stuff is nasty.

I got a little bit of that last night too.
This happened to me on Monday!!! It was on top of a mini emotional meltdown complete with crying and 3 trips to the store for DH to take care of some of my cravings.
I have never in my life had heartburn before! It was like the perfect storm of pregnancy side effects!! DH didn't know what to do with me!

Lol im a huge baby when i have stomach problems... If i could id be in a ball on the bathroom floor wimperring!!! but the belly allows only a few positions!
