breast feeding class LIJ - new hyde park
anyone take this? im supposed to go but wondering if its worth it since i know once the baby is born a lactation consultant will come to the room to go over things....
edit to add - im due in 1 month so im not sure how useful it will be to take now.

I would not bother. IT really is a learn when the baby is here and then you can always take a new mommy breast feeding class or meet with a lactation consultant.
Each baby is different so you might have to change the way you old the baby etc....its much better hands on.
This is coming from a mom who tried BF and gave up. A successful BF mom might have a different opinion.
