Marriott Harbour Lake vs Royal Palms-Disney?

If you've been to them, which would you choose?

Husband and i are bringing the kids to disney in october (5 yr old and almost 2 yr old).

Harbour Lake looks good because of the pirate ship and mini golf, but it looks very outdated. For my almost 2 year old at the time, i'm thinking the pirate ship pool would be good for him since he won't be able to swim yet.

But Royal Palms looks much nicer and is right next to downtown disney.

Any opinions? Do both places have 2 bedroom units? any that have 3 bedroom units or no?

which would you pick?

Harbour Lakes is not at all outdated, and I'm pretty picky lol. We have stayed there twice in a studio and in a 2 bedroom. So family friendly, tons to do! A bit of a drive if you are doing Disney parks everyday though. Its across from sea world.

I know HL has a 3 bedroom lock off unit (2 bedroom with the studio attached)

LOVED Harbor Lake, not outdated at all. 2br unit was huge. The second BR has 2 queen sized beds plus there was room for the PNP. We really had a great time there Chat Icon And either way, they are Marriott's- you can't go wrong!

I loved Harbour Lakes but I do think it was just slightly outdated but it didn't take away from it. The pools and splash area were great, we played mini golf and I loved being able to do laundry in my suite! Chat Icon
