Maternity shirt WTF
Just for shtts and giggles I was looking at maternity clothes -- as I'm a way off from that point.
But what is with this shirt?
plaid pea in a pod shirt
I don't know what I'm doing but... is this like a super expensive brand?
REALLY? $135? For a plaid shirt?
I'm going to end up wearing gym shorts and my husband's t-shirts this summer if that's how much maternity clothes cost.

The brand is Splendid. Pea in a Pod is like the Bloomie's of maternity wear from what I understand, and Splendid is a designer brand that IS quite pricey.
Just stick with Gap and Old Navy!

Pea in a Pod is pricey. The only thing I got from them was my shower dress....
I stuck with Old Navy, Gap and Motherhood Maternity. ON & Gap always have 30% off sales and I saved a ton.

Fatthead gave $200 when I got my bfp. Thank god the day I went shopping a huge sale was going on. After I bought all my clothes on ebay. Save your money. Borrow mine. If you ever come the F out!!

Pea in the Pod is a joke, I would NEVER pay what they charge for maternity clothes, it's insanity. I also get a lot at Kohl's, super affordable. These clothes are so temporary and get so stretched out there is NO way I will pay a lot for maternity.

They are SUPER pricey. I also stayed on "the other side of the store" when shopping at Destination Maternity lol which was all motherhood maternity, so much cheaper!
Whenever the sales lady would try to pull me something from the Pea in the Pod side I would tell her no before I even saw it haha
Also, I got a lot of my clothes from Target. They have really cute sweaters and jeans

I have bought expensive maternity clothes. And as a matter of fact, I do wipe with dollar bills.
You buy what you can afford. I still care about looking and feeling good when pregnant. I don't judge people who buy clothes at Target, and I don't appreciate people judging me for buying from Pea in the Pod.
