Anyone ever buy a HomePath home?

Anyone ever buy a HomePath home?
We have an offer in on a house that is a Fannie Mae HomePath home. Anyone have any experience with this? We're wondering how long it generally takes for the bank to make their decision on our offer.
The house has been on the market for over a year, but of course, the day that we put in our offer, another offer came in. So they came back that same day and told us to submit our best offer so that they can make their decision. This leads me to believe that they're going to decide fairly soon. But we talked to one of our friends who purchased a HomePath home and they said it took 2 weeks to get an answer back from the bank.
I know no one will have a definitive answer for me... but I'm hoping others have been through this and can tell me about their experience.

it's an oline bidding process- they usally give the agent who submitted the offer a date

We actually just heard back from them this morning that they accepted our offer.
So we originally put in the offer on Thursday afternoon last week, and heard back this morning. Not too shabby at all!

that sounds about right- I only did it once- but it was quick
and same thing with another offer coming in after months of nothing lol
