Stroller - Uppa baby vista
I have an Uppa baby vista 2012. I never used the bassinet as dd hated laying flat. I use the base with a maxi cosi car seat, so I guess as a snap and go?
When can I put her in the regular stroller seat, she's 4months now and maybe 13.5lbs? I kind of feel like it was so expensive and a waste as I didn't use part of it. It is also pretty heavy and not too easy to fold up and unfold.
Also why do so many others have the city mini jogger? Everyone keeps telling me to get one in addition to the vista, but why would I need 2? I sort of like the city mini better bc it looks easier and lighter.

Re: Stroller - Uppa baby vista
I had my son in the stroller at 4 months. It reclines nicely sto I felt safe and also put the foot bar up.
I love my Uppa!

Re: Stroller - Uppa baby vista
So what did you guys do with the car seat. Unhook the baby and then put the baby in the stroller instead of just snapping the infant car seat into the base?
Do you have any other strollers?

Why are you looking to stop using as a snap and go? We used it as that until DD was out of her car seat basically. You can definitely use the regular seat at 4.5 months if you want to. I personally don't think you need another big stroller. I have the Uppababy umbrella stroller for when we travel or for when I dont want to carry the Vista.

Re: Stroller - Uppa baby vista
for me, the best part of that stroller is the snap and go function.
if it was really hot or we were going to be out for a long time, I would put DS in the toddler seat, reclined (even at 6 weeks).

I don't want to stop using the maxi cosi, I know eventually shell be too big. It's already pretty tight. But I was wondering when to use the vista stroller seat bc so many of my friends jumped to the jogger. They found it lighter.

I always used the snap n go feature when we went to the mall etc but when taking her for walks I put her in the seat. Once she was like 7mths I always used the seat tho bc she liked to see things and be able to look around

vista is such a better stroller than mini IMO - huge basket, option for a tray, very comfortable seat that sits up straight for when DC are older, big canopy.... you can go on uppas site and order a little snuzzler thing for the stroller so she'll be cozy
