Would this justify seeing an RE

So I know this isnt really an "Infertility" issue but you ladies seem to know so much about the whole RE process so I thought you may be able to help me. Going to try and make this as short as possible.

Got pregnant with my dd on the 1st shot and had an uneventful pregnancy up until 36 weeks when I developed pre E. This was in 2010.

About 3 months after my c-section I develop this weird pain in my lower right abdomen every time I would get AF. It was not period cramps it was more like I was sore in this one spot, like I couldnt even press on my stomach in that spot without it hurting. I went back to my obgyn who first thought it was a small cyst giving me the problem so I went on bc pills. Then the pain continued and the dr said it must be my fibroid and that I should have it removed. Now I had this fibroid since I was preggo with dd and never had any pain from it. I was starting to dislike my ob for many reasons so I decided to get a 2nd opinion.

I went to a new obgyn last year and explained everything, After all his testing he said the fibroid is too small to be causing that pain and I do not need to have it removed. Pain continues and finally the new dr decides its time to look inside and see whats going on. I had a laporoscopy this past June. He found a lil scar tissue (removed it) a few small cysts (removed them) and the small fibroid. He felt that I may have adenomyosis but only way to fully diagnose it is a hysterectomy. He assured me I would be able to conceive again and carry a pregnancy to term.

This past Oct I got preggo again on my 1st shot but had the same weird right side pain the first 2 weeks of my pregnancy. By the next week I started miscarrying. My dr thinks it was a fluke and not related to my mysterious pain.

I am not so sure. I know something isnt right. I am scared to ttc again in fear of another miscarriage if it is indeed caused by whatever is going on in my body.

Would an RE be someone to see about this?
I like my new dr but I feel like no one is listening to me. I know something isnt right.Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

All I can say is you will never REGRET seeing an RE. If they think there's no need for you to be there, they'll tell you. If you're wondering if it would be helpful to shed some extra light on your situation and you're not happy with the answers your getting right now, then go for it! If the RE doesn't think it's necessary all you have to lose is about 45 mins of your time and a copay! (check your infertility insurance)

is this a typo?????

if you have a Hysterectomy you will not be able to carry a baby at all since this is the removal of your uterus...

I would see an RE, just like Jackie said...if they dont think they can help you, it was 45 minutes of your day and a copay :)

Good Luck!!! Stay positive :)

Lol that was his point. He wouldnt give me a hysterectomy because I would not be able to have another child but the only way to diagnose it 100% is to take the uterus out and cut it open lol

Honestly I would see one. You have nothing to lose. I am unexplained IF and I wish I went to an RE sooner. Ultimately it took IVF for me to get and stay pregnant. All I can say is go with your gut. GL!

I totally agree with PP. My GYN told me tons of things I could try without having to see an RE. I was almost embarrassed to see my GYN after starting with my RE because I felt like I was going behind her back.
Turned out with my dx (diagnosed by RE) the chances of me getting pregnant without IVF were slim.

It was the best decision I made.

I have yet to hear anyone say "I wish I had waited to see an RE" but I have heard lots of people say "I wish I went sooner".
