NT Scan - Did I mess this up?

I had the sono done at 12 weeks 4 days. Between the holidays and me going to the wrong place to get the bloodwork, I just finally got the bloodwork done today at 14 weeks 1 day. I know people have said NT scan is between 11 and 13 weeks (?). Does that include the bloodwork? I hope I didn't mess this up.

No, I think the sonogram part is the part that's important to be done during the suggested timeframe because of the size and translucency of the baby. I don't think any of the markers in your blood change throughout the pregnancy.

Hmm...i'm not sure how this works to be honest. I think there are different ways to do this. I was told that my NT bloodwork and scan needed to be done on the same day for it to be done properly. The baby wouldn't cooperate and they were going to send me home for another day. I asked if I could at least do the blood work that day and they said it had to be done all at once. I ended up staying and getting the pictures and blood draw done that day. Iwould call your doctor to see what they say! Good luck! I;m sure all isok!

The sono has to be done at that time because the neck is still translucent enough for them to see what they need to see. I am not sure about the blood work, but I do know that you get the blood at 12 weeks and again at 16, and I know my OB had to make my appointment 5 weeks after the test because when I had the NT scan I was 11 weeks 3 days because it was three days before xmas, and we didn't want to miss the window, with all the holidays coming up.

There is a reason that it is so far apart, I am just not sure what it is.
