Stupid question, but what kind of bag are you packing? It seems like there's so much "stuff".

I'm deciding between a small suitcase (carry on size) or a large Vera Bradley tote. When they stuff I just ordered today gets here I'll see which one fits everything.

I'm using a duffle bag that I usually use for weekend vacations as a travel on.

Re: Spinoff: hospital bag
We both used small rolling suitcases. DH had to move our things from L&D to a recovery room and then finally a private room, so having our stuff on wheels helped tremendously.

Ditto same one I've used each time.

I'm packing a Vera Bradley duffle. And I'll probably throw together a small tote last minute with snacks and a change of clothes for DH.

I fit everything into this Yankee duffle bag I have. I really didn't want to bring anything bigger

Re: Spinoff: hospital bag
im just using a small rolling suitcase (the carry on size for plane travel). id rather have more space to bring stuff home from the hospital then to squish everything into a duffel bag. I dont want to hassle with 2 bags (one for L&D and one for the overnight stay)...id rather have it all in one place

My parents bought us a 3 piece luggage set for Christmas, so im going to use the small one probably. If i want to bring stuff from the hospital i will just have Shaun or my parents take the small one and bring the bigger one back with them. lol

I packed two bags - one for L&D and one for my stay after. Both were duffel bags.

I used a small suitcase but that's what I use even for weekend bag. I prefer bags I can roll.
